Melody Gardot was left bedridden, neurally damaged, hypersensitive to light and sound, and in great pain from a bicycle accident. She was encouraged to integrate music as a part of her treatment plan to deal with her pain and her cognitive deficits. She went on to record three albums and create some of the most wonderful music one can ever dream of.
